(Red Fort closed every Monday) Afternoon half day sightseeing tour of New Delhi visiting Qutub Minar built by Qutub-ud-Din Aibek in 1199, Humayun Tomb, India Gate (war memorial tarch), Lakshminarayan Temple-a modern Hindu Temple. Also drive past President House, Parliament House, Government Secretariat Buildings and Connaught Place-shopping centre of New Delhi. Overnight at the hotel.

Morning leave by surface for Chandigarh enroute visiting Fatehgarh Sahib, Sirhind : An important destination for Sikh pilgrims. This gurudwara has been built on the site where 300 years ago, Guru Gobind Singhji two young Sahibzadas were entombed alive by the Mughals because they had refused to embrace Islam underduress of the Nawab of Sirhind. Morning visit Gurudwara Dukh Niwaran Sahib Patiala City : Marks the site Sahib where the 9th Prophet, Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Ji had rested while proceeding to Delhi to embrace martyrdom to uphold man right to worship according to his belief. Later leave by surface for Anandpur Sahib. On arrival check into hotel. Afternoon visit Takht Sri Keshgarh Sahib, Anandpur Sahib : A birthplace of the Khalsa, it was here on March 30th, 1699 Guru Gobind Singh baptized 5 Sikhs with amrit (sweetened water) stirred with his Khanda and called them his Five Beloved Ones and gave them the last name ‘Singh’ which means Lion. Guru Gobind Singh then humbly bowed before the Five Beloved Ones and asked them to initiate Him into the Khalsa Brotherhood. Overnight at the hotel.
Same day trip to GURU KA LAHORE Celebrating the pious marriage ceremony of Guru Gobind Sing Ji, Guru Ka Lahore which is surrounded by three other Gurudwaras, is set at a distance of 12 km from the famous Anandpur Sahib. Turning the look of this place into one of the cities of Lahore, Guru Ji married Jeet Kaur in 1734. KIRTHPUR SAHIB Gurudwara Kiratpur Sahib was established in 1627 by the sixth Sikh Guru Sri Har Gobind Sahib in a small peaceful town at the foothills of the Shivalik range in Punjab. He lived his last few years of his worldly life here in Kiratpur. Situated on the bank of river Sutlej in present day Ropar district, the auspicious place had regular association with the other Sikh Gurus that followed. Here the seventh Sikh Guru, Guru Har Rai and eighth Sikh Guru, Guru Har Krishan Dev Ji were born and brought up. Even the first Sikh prophet, Guru Nanak ji is known to have visited this place in his lifetime. Overnight at the hotel.

Morning half day city sightseeing tour of AMRITSAR visiting the Golden temple – the sacred sikh sanctuary marbled bronzed and covered with gold leaf wherein the Guru Granth Sahib – the bible of the sikhs is placed reverently. Also see the community kitchen where 10000 pilgrims are fed daily on voluntary and on complimentary basis. Afternoon visit wagah border. Wagah border – the only road crossing between India and Pakistan. The guards on each side assemble to parade and preen themselves in an immaculately turned out display of synchronised marching and bellowed military commands. The flag of each country is then carefully raised or lowered and the gates are opened or slammed shut. Visit Golden Temple to witness evening ceremony. Overnight at the hotel.
Same day trip to TARN TARAN SAHIB. Tarn Taran : 24 Kms south of Amritsar. Founded by the 5th Prophet Sri Guru Arjan Dev Ji the impressive Gurudwara with gold plated dome has a holy pool. The guru used to run a leper home here. Also visit other GURUDWARAS. Overnight at the hotel.

Afternoon Takhat Sachkhand Sri Hazur Abchalnagar Sahib is the principal shrine at about half a Kilometre from the left bank of the river Godavari, Nanded, Maharashtra. It marks the site where the Guru had his camp in 1708 A.D. after the departure of the emperor Bahadur Shah. The tenth Guru held his court and congregation here. It is the site of his own tent where he was convalescing after he was attacked by assassins. It is the place from where the tenth Guru rose to heaven along with his horse Dilbag.
